Why We Built This
AppSecJobs.com was built by Pixee as a free community resource for application security professionals.
We noticed that AppSec professionals face a unique challenge when evaluating roles: the job description tells you about the responsibilities, but nothing about the security team's philosophy, tooling, or maturity. You're applying blind.
We built this job board to change that. Every listing is enriched with security intelligence — the team's AppSec philosophy, their security tool stack, team structure, and key initiatives — so you can evaluate culture fit before you apply.
How Our Data Works
The “Security Intelligence” data shown on each listing is compiled from publicly available sources:
- Job postings — We analyze the full text of job descriptions to identify security tools, frameworks, and methodologies mentioned.
- Company careers pages — We review public careers pages and engineering blogs for signals about security culture and team structure.
- Company materials — Press releases, public documentation, and conference talks provide additional context.
This data is processed using automated analysis (AI-assisted extraction) and may not reflect the current state of a company's security program. Tool stacks change, teams reorganize, and philosophies evolve. We recommend verifying all intelligence data during the interview process.
Freshness & Accuracy
Job listings are sourced and updated weekly. Each listing shows a “Verified” timestamp indicating when we last confirmed the posting was still active. Listings that haven't been verified in 14+ days are marked as “Stale.”
We actively monitor for filled and removed positions to keep the board accurate. If you notice a listing that's outdated, let us know at jobs@pixee.ai.
